Member Benefits

Guild membership comes with significant benefits.

First as a member of the guild you are telling the horse owning public that you are a member of the most exclusive farrier association in the US. Your membership caries with it the weight of The Guild of Professional Farriers, Inc.

Farriers that have tested and are included in the Guild Registry who are in good standing with the Guild receive referrals to the horse owning public. The horse owning public knows that Guild Registry farriers are tested to strenuous standards and must stay current in the scientific developments in the practice of farriery to be included in the referral list.

The Guild's officers and committees are constantly working to advance the relationship between the skilled professional farrier, doctors of Veterinary Medicine and the horse owning public. The Guild represents the interests of Guild Registry farriers and by representing their interests well the Guild also raises the standards for all professional farriers.

Other more tangible benefits for being a member of the Guild is that all Guild members receive a membership in the Farrier and Hoofcare Resource Centers Co-Op. Farriers that are all ready members of the Co-op will have their existing memberships extended consistent with their term as a Guild Member. The Guild chose to engage this program from the F&HRC Co-Op because we believe that they are more able and motivated to advance and improve members benefits of this nature than we will ever be. This allows us, your Board of Directors, to focus on your professional advancement.

F&HRC Co-Op Benefits

When you join the Guild you receive Co-Op benefits and you'll have access and the ability to save yourself substantial money on both educational activities and when purchasing farrier/hoofcare supplies. Co-Op membership is an investment that will keep on paying you back many times over, long into the future.

Right out of the gate you can double the money back you spend on dues by receiving a $50 discount when placing an online purchase of farrier/hoofcare supplies from each of the following companies:

Anvil Brand
Farriers Depot
Georgia Farrier Supply
Midwest Farrier Supply

The discount program is easy:

Place an order for $250 or more, and $50 will be deducted. Example: Place an order for $265, and the final total will be $215. You may take advantage of this discount annually from each of the participating companies.
